MindOverFour While both Warpstone albums are amazing, I prefer this earlier one. It is a little more Chuck Schuldiner/ "Spiral Architect-y" than their second album, which is a touch more black metal than this one. For a reasonable price, you get 8 tracks of amazing musicianship. My favorite songs are not the ones available to listen to here, so it is even better than these audible tracks. Favorite track: Hall of the Occultist.

S810 Seriously, if Enslaved and Opeth got together and had a baby, and then that baby grew up, did a bunch of drugs and made a progressive death metal album, this would be that progressive death metal album. Gives me a serious fucking boner. Favorite track: Hall of the Occultist.

This is my favorite metal album of all time. The only bad thing is that the vocals are somewhat buried in the mix. Otherwise, the record perfectly blends a mix of metal genres with excellent songcraft. A record you'll listen to again and again. The Real Nick House
